The Nature of Power and Machiavelli
This time we were tasked with questioning a figure of our choice about a variety of topics in the AI usage task. To be honest, I didn't expect the task to be so difficult when I started it. There are multiple reasons for this. In the end, I persevered and successfully completed the task, and I am writing this. I can say that the use of AI made me stumble this time due to issues related to the platform itself. I actually know how to use AI, MagicSchool's own AI works very well and is nice and elegant to use, but the interface was a bit of a challenge. My original plan was to have a chat with Newton, but suddenly, when I was in contact with a different AI on the site in a wrong way and spent 10 questions, it killed my motivation. So, I had to wait a bit. It is a separate problem to register on the site, I got the impression that it is not a site designed for students over the age of 18 to use as a student, but when I enter as an instructor, it offers me the opportunity to prepare materials for university students. In such a situation, my confusion increased exponentially. But after going through these stages, I enjoyed the conversation.
This is actually a matter of leaving the student autonomously. I think targeted autonomy will be the basis of the education system of the future. I think there is no longer a top-down but a more horizontal-based education plan. Students do not react warmly to harsh orders. Since I also think like this, I may use similar artificial intelligence applications for my students in the future as an educator.
It is a unique technological device that can reinforce factors such as a sense of responsibility, homework awareness and success for students. But if used too much, it can also accustom students to laziness, monotony and mediocrity. It should be a device that can be placed next to the learner, not in their place. In this case, the responsibility depends on the guidance of the teacher, and responsible and conscious parents should follow the situation.
