Reflecting at the End of the Road

As I look back at the end of an adventure after a long time, some of which has passed relatively quickly, I am reflecting as I critically evaluate what I have been through and all the assignments I have done and used in this course. I think I have done some of the most interesting assignment I have done since the beginning of this course. Obviously, I had already experienced the use of the technologies or other tools presented to me here on different occasions. I cannot lie about that. But the difference this time was in integrating them into my educational process. To be honest, I cannot say that I enjoyed what I was doing in every part of the process. There were many assignments that I did with great reluctance and boredom. This is normal because not everything is always perfectly smooth. One of the assignments that I particularly liked was the digital story, which was simple and which I had a personal passion for. That was very good. The podcast was simple but the technical possibilities were terrible. I didn't like the infographic assignment at all, I didn't enjoy doing that assignment at all.

I think such assignments are important for students to control their own education and determine their own way of learning. I might use the same method in the future. Autonomy is very important in modern education because dictation from above usually results in a harsh reaction from new students. I was in favor of integrating technology into the system in every way, and my opinion has not changed after this course.

The point is that students will integrate technology whether the teacher wants to or not. The teacher needs to do this in a controlled and planned way for the student and in spite of the student. But I still have a criticism that applies to this course as well. The framework can be determined. The content of the assignments can be given to the student, but the student should be given much more freedom in terms of tools, methods and presentation method. I think too much systematic progress is demotivating. These are all I have to say. It is a relief to look back after a long year.
