Walking in a Digital Minefield

The framework of our task was to make an infographic that explains how each individual can realize responsive internet use, i.e. conscious use, which includes various topics that each individual should pay attention to while surfing the internet, and what the terms used in the subject mean.

I have chosen the topic of safety and privacy, the main reason for this is that before this infographic and this task, I had done serious research on the subject and as a result of this research, there were measures that I applied in my own life. So, I was personally motivated for this.

I used Canva to create this infographic. In my opinion, Canva is arguably the most practical and easiest to use. I was very satisfied that I had a history of previous use. I recommend it to everyone.

With the right use of color, graphics and messaging, infographics give students the perfect opportunity to make a point. Since it is a combination of 3 mediums at the same time, its powerful combination can give great messages.

Students learn about the subject in a simple, structured way and quickly and retain the information more easily. This is very valuable in terms of improving learning.

When it comes to this infographic, students are made aware of the dangers they can face when accessing information or more generally when spending time on the internet. On top of that, it eliminates potential factors that could undermine their educational process and motivation. This is a valuable lesson they will remember for the rest of their lives.
